Its main purpose is to perform a double duty as a very effective mechanical and biological filter media, its dense structure is ideal for trapping unwanted small particles. Its colossal surface area aids the growth of beneficial bacteria and helps to maintain a clean and healthy aquarium, Bio-Foam+ should be replenished every 6 months.
