Seachem Flourish Tabs are root zone supplements designed to provide essential nutrients, trace elements, amino acids, and vitamins directly to your planted aquarium’s substrate. They are a time-released fertiliser, meaning they release their nutrients slowly over time, promoting strong and healthy root growth.

• No Phosphates or Nitrates: They are formulated without phosphates or nitrates, which helps to prevent algae proliferation in your tank.
• Time-Released: The nutrients are released slowly through the enzymatic action of the plants’ roots on the tabs, ensuring a steady supply of food for up to four months.

How to Use

Using Flourish Tabs is simple and effective.

1. Placement: Insert one tab into the gravel bed for every 10–15 cm (4–6 in.) radius. Distribute them evenly throughout the substrate, especially near the roots of your heavy root-feeding plants. For a standard 40-litre (10-gallon) aquarium, you would use around six tabs.
2. Insertion: Push each tablet midway into the gravel bed, making sure it is fully buried. Be careful if you have bottom-dwelling fish, as they can sometimes dig up the tabs.
3. Frequency: For optimal plant growth, replace the tablets every three to four months.

Important Notes

• Flourish Tabs will not alter your tank’s pH. However, in very soft or unbuffered water, they can exhibit slightly acidic properties, similar to peat moss.
• They can be used in conjunction with liquid fertilisers like Seachem Flourish, as some plants absorb nutrients through their leaves as well as their roots. Using both can provide a more complete feeding regimen.
