The Ziss Feeding Cup is a clear acrylic feeding accessory designed to provide precise and controlled delivery of food (flakes, sinking pellets, frozen cubes, etc.) into the aquarium. It is particularly valued by shrimp keepers and aquarists housing shy, slow-moving, or bottom-dwelling fish, as it ensures food reaches its intended target while minimising waste and maintaining water quality.

II. Dimensions and Installation
- Material: High-quality, clear, food-grade acrylic/plastic.
- Installation: Uses high-strength suction cups to attach firmly to the side of the glass.
- Placement: Typically placed 1–5 cm above the substrate to allow bottom-dwellers easy access to the food that drops out.
III. Directions for Use (Feeding Guide)
- Placement: Select a spot on the front glass that is away from the direct output of filters or air stones. Attach the cup using the supplied suction cups, ensuring the bottom opening is positioned just above the substrate.
- Preparation: Prepare the food you wish to use. The cup works best with sinking pellets, crushed flakes, or targeted doses of shrimp powder/dust.
- Loading: Use a pipette or small spoon to carefully drop the food into the top opening of the cup. The food will slowly settle inside the cup before falling to the substrate below.
- Monitoring: Leave the food in the cup for up to 2 hours. Observe the shrimp and fish feeding.
- Clean-up (Crucial): Any food remaining in the cup after the feeding period should be gently removed using a small net or pipette to prevent fouling the water.
IV. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: The feeding cup should be removed and thoroughly cleaned with warm, clean water at least once a week to prevent the build-up of bio-film or algae.
- Algae: Use a soft sponge or cloth to remove any green or brown algae that grows on the clear acrylic, ensuring maximum visibility.
