Description

Diamond tetras are omnivores and thrive on a varied diet. In home aquariums, they can be fed a combination of high quality flakes or pellets, supplemented with live or frozen food like brineshrimp, daphnia or bloodworms. A balanced diet will help maintain their vibrant colors and overall health. 

Diamond tetras maximum size is 6cm and are a peaceful species. They will do well with other small, peaceful fish species like other tetras, rasboras, or peaceful bottom dwellers. 

They prefer slightly acidic to neutral water with a pH range of 6.0-6.8 and a temperature range of 26-30c.
